1. Introduction
PixCalo respects your privacy. This policy describes how we process personal data to provide and improve our services, consistent with applicable law (including GDPR).
2. What Data We Collect and How We Use It
- Account information. When you participate in, access, purchase or sign up to any of our services, activities or online content, such as subscriptions, newsletters, surveys, competitions or events, we receive personal information about you which we use to be able to provide these services. This may consist of data including your name, email address, postal address and telephone number. You will be able to select how we use your information for marketing purposes and you can update your marketing preferences at any time. PixCalo stores, processes and maintains files that you create and/or upload using the Services (as well as previous versions of your files), including PixCalo charts that you create, sharing lists, and other data related to your account in order to provide the service to you.
- Usage information. We collect information related to how you use the Services, including actions you take when using our Services (like editing, viewing, and sharing Your Stuff, changing themes, activating software license, and logging in and out of your account). We use this information to improve our Services, develop new services and features, and protect you as well as other PixCalo users.
- Device information. We also collect information from and about the devices you use to access the Services. This includes things like IP addresses, system language, the type of browser and device you use, the version of our software, the web page you visited before coming to our sites, and identifiers associated with your devices. Your devices (depending on their settings) may also transmit location information to the Services.
- Email Marketing. As part of our services, we provide users with certain communications and updates. We may send you service, marketing, technical and other administrative communications, such as communications about your account, our Service offerings, changes to the Services, and important Services-related notices, such as security and fraud notices. We consider these communications as part of our Services to you.
- Contents input. PixCalo may process text or image inputs that you provide to generate AI-based responses. Such inputs are processed automatically and are not used to identify you personally. All uploaded images or data are secure and handled confidentially. Data is transferred with SSL/TLS encryption and only used to perform requested image processing.
- Health and Wellness Information. To provide personalized nutrition recommendations and health plans, PixCalo may collect certain health-related information that you voluntarily submit, including your gender, exercise frequency, height, weight, fitness goals, workout habits, meal schedule, dietary preferences, and other relevant lifestyle information. This data is processed solely for generating customized calorie estimates, dietary guidance, and personalized wellness suggestions through PixCalo's AI models. We do not use this information for medical diagnosis or treatment, nor do we provide professional medical services.
3. Legal Basis for Processing and Sharing
PixCalo processes personal data as necessary to provide the services, with your consent, to comply with legal obligations, and for our legitimate interests.
- Service Providers: We may share personal data with service providers to fulfill orders, deliver communications, analyze data, process payments, operate the website, troubleshoot, and provide support.
- Legal Disclosures: We may disclose personal data to comply with legal obligations or protect rights, property, or safety.
- Processors: We may transmit personal data to companies that process it on our behalf for the purposes above (e.g., payment processors, analytics, fraud monitoring, email delivery, social media, and other marketing platforms).
- Third‑Party Tracking Tools: We may use third‑party tracking tools (e.g., Google Analytics,Firebase,Bing) to understand product and website usage. Data may be stored on third‑party servers and reports used for the purposes above.
- Storage: We may store information on servers leased from third‑party providers.
4. Storage, Retention, and Your Controls
- User Controls: You can access, amend, download, and delete your personal information via your account settings where available.
- Retention: We retain account information while your account exists or as needed to provide services. If you delete your account, we initiate deletion promptly, subject to backup latency and retention to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, or enforce agreements. Other information is retained until you request deletion.
5. Security
We adopt appropriate technical and organizational measures to help prevent unauthorized access and ensure data is held securely. We require third parties processing data for us to have appropriate security measures.
6. Your Rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, download, and restrict or object to processing of your personal data, and to withdraw consent where applicable. You can unsubscribe from marketing emails via the unsubscribe link in any marketing email. To delete your account, go to Me, select Profile, then choose Delete account and follow the confirmation prompts.
7. Children’s Information
Our services are not directed to children under 13 (or as required by local law). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we learn that we have collected such information, we will delete it and terminate the account as appropriate.
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. If changes materially alter your privacy rights, we will provide additional notice (e.g., email or in‑service notifications). If you disagree with changes, you should deactivate your account.

10. Disclaimer (Force Majeure)
PixCalo does not assume responsibility for service interruptions or defects caused by force majeure or reasons beyond PixCalo’s control (including but not limited to acts of God, flood, war, terrorism, fire, riot, rebellion, civil commotion, strike, lockout, other industrial action, general failure of electricity or other supply, technical failure, accidental or mechanical or electrical breakdown, computer failure, embargo, labor dispute, or changes in laws or governmental action). We will strive to minimize any losses and impacts and ensure stability and security.
